Puzzle Swap

Puzzles are ideal to swap instead of buy. Post your dusty old jigsaws or physical brain teasers. Or find one you want and arrange a swap.

Welcome!

JB, October 3, 2009: I'm pleasantly surprised, after not having checked on PuzzleSwap for a while, to see there are a bunch of people who've tried it. It was conceived for three-dimensional puzzles like the Tavern Puzzles and Rubiks cube, but I see it's getting some traction mostly for jigsaws. That's great! A free book will be going out to GB (and D if you email me).

I just converted PuzzleSwap to Ning, January, 2009. I'll give a free copy of my kids' book, PoopyPhonics (or my Amazon 5-Star book on repetitive strain injuries) to the first ten swappers (free shipping); just email me. No surprises, no spam. Here's how I suggest you try to use this Ning site to arrange trades:

  PoopyPhonics
  1. Use a separate Forum Discussion for each type of puzzle, such as Rubik's Cube (not one for each Rubik's Cube that is traded).
  2. To get a puzzle that already has a discussion, email the listing person with your swap offer.
  3. To offer a puzzle that already has a discussion, post a note to that discussion.
  4. To get or offer a puzzle that doesn't have a discussion, add a new discussion. Try to put a picture in... we really need pictures. Then post a first reply/comment saying "<Want to get> or <Have> this puzzle and will offer..." or similar.
  5. Posts should begin with either "Have..." or "Want..." Then try to contact one another with the built in email or chat. If you arrange a swap, delete your message, but not the forum.

Let me know how it goes. Email: jackbellis@hotmail.com Website: jackbellis.com

Lauri, I'd trade your two cute Hearthland puzzles for this one. Send me a mailing address and I'll package this one up. mtnjnky@yahoo.com Max

I really like these puzzles - they're difficult enough, yet they give you a sense of satisfaction because they ARE doable. I recommend this series highly!

1000 pc Puzzle. Hot Air Balloons

This is a good puzzle. Difficult when you get to doing the trees! The tiny people on the ground are actually more fun to do than they look!

I'm very new here but I'd like to swap this puzzle for a 1000 pc or a hard 500 pc.
Sorry if I've done this wrong!

Tell me what you think

Will discussions or blogs work better for posting swap requests? Let me know what you think. It looks like you can delete your replies... that will be key.
